Current Weight: 186.4
So, I gained .4. Could have been a lot worse. I was hoping for my 3 pounds again, but like is always said, "It took awhile to put the pounds on, it will take awhile to get them off."
Last night I started doing the Couch to 5k program. It is where you follow their schedule and within 9 weeks, you are 5k ready. I hope I follow through with it. I tried to come up with an excuse last night to not start (no stopwatch) but then I looked to see if my cell phone had one...and it did! So, I used that. I was about to die after getting off the treadmill, but it also felt good too.
My mother is a Pancreatic Cancer survivor. When she lost her hair during chemo my grandma made her some head scarves because they were like $30 in the stores. She bought a pattern at Walamrt and made her a bunch in some really nice fabrics. I have decided to make some and donate them at our Relay for Life event coming up in April. Here is a picture of my first attempt to make one:

Oh, I wanted to let you know that I have the couck to 5k podcasts that i got from itunes - they are still on the itunes store for free. They are awesome - you don't need a stopwatch, and the music on it is actually pretty good. you should check them out!
ReplyDeletei stole your link on the couch to 5k, that is going to be really helpful. thanks for that! i plan on starting to run on my treadmill again once our basement is cleared out. not a tough task but we keep on putting it off! isn't life funny?
