Happy V-Day!

So, I have never been a fan of Valentine's Day...boyfriends just never came through on this day...and I hated watching all of the "cool" girls at our school walk around with teddy bears, balloons, and candy. Sometimes all three.

Well, today my hubby has to work until one. He went in at three this morning. I woke up around 7 and to my happy delight, he had put flowers on my computer desk (he knows me so well). I was really surprised because I didn't think he had gotten me anything. So, his gift from me will be clean house a nice meal. I'm thinking steaks. These are the fllowers, I just don't know why I can't make them turn the right way.

So, last night I went over to a friends house that I haven't seen in forever. We have known each other since the first grade and still keep in touch. She is gorgeous. She has her own blag at http://mariamkhalili.blogspot.com/. She is a great photographer. I had a great time away from the srtesses at home. Her mom was there too and we just talked about everything. It was so nice to just sit there in peace. She made a chicken soup. All organic. Very nice.

Now it's time to get the kiddos ready for church!

Confession: I had three cookies yesterday, but they were in my calorie goal.

Cheer: I have really been keeping track of my food journal. I can't wait until Tuesday!
